6722 mails to go ...

E-mails are a bore. I look with amazement at people who complain when they have 50 emails to read. I get thousands of emails every day, so getting just 50 would be a god sent.

The only problem with such large amounts of mails seems that mail clients are not designed to handle them. I long for a client that automatically adds new folders and filters when I subscribe to new mailing lists, and highlights threads I have participated in at one stage to bring them more to my attention, and a proper kill/ignore thread function like in news readers.

Procmail is your friend

Well, real men use procmail's dynamic e-mail filters. ;-) In fact, there are many ready-to-use procmail filters out there that automatically create new folders as you subscribe to new mailing list; they use any of the mailing list related headers to determine the folder name.

Thanks

Thanks You
